Hi there! I’m Ione. My story with languages started early in life, growing up between Barcelona and Navarra, I was surrounded by Spanish, Catalan, and Basque. It came naturally… until it didn’t.
I spent years caught in traditional methods that felt dry, repetitive, and disconnected from real life. I was tired of memorizing instead of speaking, tired of rules instead of confidence.
Everything changed when I moved to Ireland. Immersed in English, I finally found my way of learning and teaching. I realized that language isn’t just grammar and vocabulary. It’s identity. It’s emotion. It’s human connection.
Now, I help others move past frustration and into real fluency through a method that’s practical, flexible, and focused on who you are.
Hey! I’m Cristina. My journey started with one decision at Dublin Airport in 2012. I knew just one word in English (“HEEEEELLOOO”), but I knew I wanted more from life.
So I learned. I worked. I failed. I kept going. I built the life I wanted first in Madrid, then in Andalusia, and through that process, I discovered my true calling: helping others break their own barriers.
In 2020, I launched my own online Spanish academy, working with expats who reminded me so much of myself years ago, full of potential, but blocked by fear and uncertainty.
Now, together with Ione, we’ve built something even bigger.
After years of working independently, we joined forces to create something more powerful:
